From a very young age, I was exposed to the camera, and was truly fascinated. My father took his camera every where, and was forever asking us to pose. On family field trips, he always seemed to be one step behind, still studying something, and checking out every angle. This drove us nuts! It wasn't until my early teens that I started to show a real interest, and my dad was more than happy to hand over the camera, and let me take a crack at it. A few years later he helped me get my own Canon Elan SLR camera. then he showed me the basics. What an aperture was, and what the shutter did, and how I could control these. Next, was learning about depth of field, and composing the shot. I remember him saying "Focus on the eyes. Always, focus on the eyes."

I am now a proud recipient of an Associates Degree in Photographic Technology from WCC in Ann Arbor, MI, and graduated with high honors. I am a professional freelance photographer available for hire. I will photograph events (both commercial and private,) portraiture, architectural, lifestyle, nature, as well as custom photo art pieces, such as black & white imaging, color toning, and composites.
